Abstract

Coblation (controled ablation) is a recent techinque of radiofrequency for treatment of hypertrophied inferior turbinate. In our thesis, Coblation was used in comparison with another method of radiofrequency which is submucous diathermy with a very hight results without complications or side effects. Coblation should be used in other E.N.T applications as uvelopalatopharyngoplasty and ablation of hypertrophied tongue base for treatment of snoing and obstructive sleep apnea. Another application of coblation for tonsillectomy
