This study was carried on 200 child admitted to Abu El Reish pediatric hospitals in a period of one month complaining of chest symptoms such as: cough, expectoration, anorexia, fever, dyspnea, chest pain, wheezing, etc.. . Asthmatic patients were excluded. Diagnosis of patients was based upon full medical history, thorough clinical examination, specific laboratory and radiological examinations. Leading causes are pneumonias, bronchiolitis, especially when there is underlying problems such as: congenital heart diseases, malnutrition, immunodeficiency, neurological diseases others as foreign body inhalation, suppurative lung diseases
