Abstract
Rising cesarean section birth rates has become of increasing concern to the obstetric professional and the public. With time, the transitions away from routine repeat cesarean to vaginal birth after cesarean has been made gradually. Successful vaginal birth after cesarean births are associated with less morbidity and should be done in an adequate environment with a full backup team for major surgery.
