On Tuesday -22- April 2025, the Institute of National Planning held the seventh seminar of the "Tuesday Seminar" for the academic year 2024-2025 under the umbrella of the "Egypt After 2025" project... A long-term development vision entitled: "Health care and ways to confront the challenges of implementing the comprehensive health insurance system." The seminar addressed the following main points: First: An overview of the health system Second: The institutional framework of the comprehensive health insurance system Third: Evaluating the steps for implementing the comprehensive health insurance system Fourth: The General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance and its role in ensuring the sustainability of health insurance coverage Fifth: Ways to accelerate the implementation of the comprehensive health insurance system Sixth: Challenges facing the expansion of universal health coverage in Egypt
