In the context of the new circumstances in the world due to the Corona pandemic, it was necessary to teach remotely through various electronic means of communication. The researcher chose two ways to implement her educational material (design foundations). They failed due to the period of stone and the inactivity caused by the pandemic to teach the basics of design in a renewed way to encourage her group from the first year at the Faculty of Home Economics, and she taught the course through the (Telegram & WhatsApp) After the completion of teaching the applied part, the researcher made a form for judging the completed artwork and presented the artworks for evaluation by the arbitrators. The most important results: the success of distance learning in teaching a course on the foundations of applied design. Recommendation: To generalize this method to the rest of the technical subjects taught in the college.
