تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل وقياس أثر التطور المصرفي على النمو الاقتصادي في مصر خلال الفترة (2023-1990)، وتتبنى منهجًا قياسيّا اعتمادًا على نموذج الانحدار الذاتي ذي الفجوات الموزعة (ARDL) لتقدير أثر التطور المصرفيّ على النمو الاقتصاديّ في مصر، وتستخدم أيضًا نموذج تصحيح الخطأ (ECM) لتقدير علاقات الأجل القصير، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن التطور المصرفيّ يؤثر إيجابيًّا في النمو الاقتصاديّ في الأجل الطويل، بالإضافة إلى أن نتائج الأجل القصير قد توافقت بشكل كبير مع نتائج الأجل الطويل.

This study aims to analyze and measure the impact of banking development on economic growth in Egypt during the period (1990-2023). It adopts a standard approach based on the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to estimate the impact of banking development on economic growth in Egypt. It also uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) to estimate short-term relationships. The results of the study concluded that banking development has a positive impact on economic growth in the long term, in addition to the fact that the short-term results were largely consistent with the long-term results.
