Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the relationship between psychological empowerment, job satisfaction, time management and future orientation, to detect differences in job satisfaction, time management and future orientation due to age and years of experience. In addition, the current research aimed to identify the relative contribution of psychological empowerment in predicting job satisfaction, time management and future orientation, and the extent of the existence of causal relationships between the research variables among special education teachers. The study was administered to a sample of (43) special education drawn teachers from some special education schools in the governorates of Cairo and Giza. The researchers designed the following instruments psychological empowerment, job satisfaction, time management and future orientation among special education teachers. The results of the study were as follow; there is a relationship between psychological empowerment and the other research variables. There are no differences in job satisfaction, time management and future orientation due to age and years of experience. The research variables can be predicted by the participants' scores on the psychological empowerment scale. There are direct and indirect causal relationships between psychological empowerment, job satisfaction, time management and future orientation. Also, there are direct and indirect causal relationships between psychological empowerment, job satisfaction, time management and future orientation.
