The study sought to assess school principals' role in implementing artificial intelligence programs in the administrative and professional sectors to advance Riyadh's public schools' educational process. The obstacles encountered by principals in achieving the mentioned aim are further discussed. In addition, the research paper utilized the descriptive survey method and adopted a questionnaire for the collection of random samples from 32 school principals and 135 teachers based in high schools east of Riyadh. The study achieved the following results: The participants' partial agreement concerning the question of school principals' role in implementing artificial intelligence programs in the administrative and professional sectors to advance Riyadh's public schools' educational process. The general average for the question resulted in (2.54) out of (5). Among the principals' top administrative roles according to the sample was the setting of clear goals in using artificial intelligence for completing administrative duties and implementing it in electronic examinations as well as the promotion of artificial intelligence competitions. The participants' partial agreement concerning the question of the obstacles faced by principals in implementing artificial intelligence programs to advance Riyadh's public schools' educational process. The general average for the question resulted in (3.04) out of (5). Principals relied mostly on personal experiences when interacting with such applications, and the sample has also suggested the overly high cost of providing technical educational resources.
