Abstract

The study aimed to determine the extent of variation in spirituality and cyclothymia based on demographic variables (gender and age) among a sample of visually impaired adolescents with low vision who are integrated into mainstream schools. It also sought to assess the variation in spirituality and cyclothymia across the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurements within the same sample. The psychometric sample included 80 students (43 males and 37 females), while the experimental sample consisted of 10 individuals aged between 13 and 18 years. The participants were assessed using spirituality and cyclothymia scales, as well as a socioeconomic status scale. The results indicated that spirituality and cyclothymia did not vary according to demographic variables (gender and age). However, both spirituality and cyclothymia varied across the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurements, with a trend toward the post-test results.
