Hibiscus sabdariffa L. (Roselle) is a species of flowering plant under the genus Hibiscus which is native to Africa, most likely West Africa and also found in India especially Maharashtra with local name ambali . Roselle plant calyces are worldwide used for the production of beverages with vital health benefits.
