Abstract

The concept of resistance itself is a concept resulting from the rejection of an event, and the product of the concept of the resistance itself is according to that event, and therefore the impact of the concept of resistance on Palestinian art in general was fluctuating results, due to the multiplicity and alternation of variables that affected it, and the concept of resistance was fertile in terms of subject matter for Palestinian art, it worked to create a favorable environment for the artist to innovate through it, but in terms of material and ease of production, we find that the matter was opposite and more difficult, and it was The impact of resistance on Palestinian art is different from one region to another, due to the different influences between these areas, as well as the element of time had a role in this difference, and that when the concept of resistance was translated into Field Statues, several problems appeared, the most important of which was the loss  these Field Statues, the Palestinian identity, because some parties controlled those fields and imposed certain topics, and some other fields were controlled by the occupation and stripped of their Palestinian meaning, and the Palestinian sculptor considered that any work he carved is in itself resistance because Produced from Palestinian hand.
