Recently, it is frequent to talk about communicative competence due to its importance in the acquisition of foreign languages. The main reason for teaching a language should be that the student can communicate correctly and spontaneously. And hence comes the importance of teaching conversation. Therefore, in this research, we attempt to present the difficulties faced by students in teaching Spanish conversation as a foreign language, and to study and evaluate the use of Artificial Intelligent in teaching conversation. Finally, we present a proposal on how a conversation class could be within the classroom, integrating technological educational applications with traditional methods. And we offer a list of the most effective and commonly used technological resources. We progressed this research by applying the descriptive qualitative method: because we created a virtual questionnaire applied to 97 university students to known their perception of the difficulties they face in teaching conversation, and about the use of apps in classroom teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Then, we analyzed it mentioning its results. And, attempting to study and evaluate the use of AI in teaching conversation, we examined some resources and applications to offer a list of the most effective and popular apps; and evaluating educational material, we examined some textbooks to recommend a few." We finally concluded that conversation class requires specific didactic treatment in the classroom. The main aim should be that the learner can communicate in a more natural, habitual, and spontaneous way. The teacher should possess an open attitude towards new tools employing technological resources because this technique has advantages. However, at the same time, they do not achieve the desired benefit without the pedagogical guidance of the teacher. Autonomous learning using these apps has some risks and limitations.
