The study aimed to review Egypt's Vision 2030, the National Climate Change Strategy 2050, the United Nations Sustainable Development Convention and its seventeen goals, as the world today is experiencing many changes in many environmental, social, economic and cultural fields, and universities are not immune from these global changes. International reports on sustainable development confirm that there are There is international recognition of the role that universities can play in achieving sustainable development, especially in light of the increasing pressures on natural resources on the one hand and population growth on the other hand. Therefore, some type of integration must be carried out between Egyptian universities and their various environmental units in order to achieve sustainable development. Universities must take it upon themselves to implement the requirements of sustainable development on campus in order to be able to keep pace with environmental, social and economic challenges. The study aims to: take advantage of the capabilities available to environmental units in order to achieve integration among them in order to achieve sustainable development. The study recommends that the university support environmental units of a special nature because of their important role in providing advisory, educational and commercial services to various sectors in the country; And increasing the cognitive capabilities and skills of senior leaders and workers in environmental units of a special nature at the university. And developing the efficiency of the services provided through integration between environmental units and considering it part of the strategy for developing these units, i.e. part of their identity and administrative philosophy.
