The study aims to shed light on small projects, those projects that attract great attention from countries around the world because of their important role in the production and employment process and improving the level of income, and to explain their effects in achieving the development process, the most important of which are: eliminating poverty and hunger, providing food security, achieving... Gender equality in access to work, providing decent work, and reducing unemployment rates. These projects also support the state's strategy to support Egyptian exports. To achieve these goals, the researcher relied on theoretical grounding and the inductive approach, from Arab and foreign books, references, and studies, to explain the role of small projects, measure their relationship in achieving economic development, and then analyze the problem of small projects, analyze their characteristics and obstacles, and then study the role that these projects can play. in the future and its effects on the development process. The results indicated the need to work on introducing many legislative amendments and facilitating the administrative and financing procedures for these projects, because these projects have a pivotal role in the process of economic and social development. The study also recommended the necessity of including a curriculum for qualifying training programs for the owners of these projects to raise their technical and professional level, transfer experience and knowledge, and spread the culture of individual work that enables them to manage these projects, expand the organization of exhibitions, and give them various financing and marketing advantages.
