Abstract

This research aims to identify the relationship between the use of modern technologies for environmental management systems and the reduction of the accumulation of solid residues resulting from demolition and construction The main objective of the research is to shed light on a set of sub-objectives: to detect the environmental, economic and social impacts resulting from the use of modern technology to reduce the accumulation of solid waste; and the relationship between modern environmental management systems and the solid waste recycling system. The research relied on the analytical descriptive curriculum to complete the study and the appropriate statistical tests to test the validity of the study's hypotheses and answer their questions to reach an effective framework that bonds together. The research findings found a statistically significant correlation between the use of modern technology for environmental management systems and the reduction of the accumulation of solid waste as a dimension of the effectiveness of the management of the waste system in Cairo governorate, as well as an impact relationship and a statistically significant correlation from a level of morale of 0.05) between the use of modern techniques for environmental management systems; Achieving environmental, economic and social benefits as one of the development dimensions of the effectiveness of tailings system management. The overall results of the study showed the sincerity, health and effectiveness of the proposed study model. The use of modern technologies for environmental management systems to reduce the accumulation and utilization of solid waste, and the need to establish and utilize an integrated system of solid waste away from overlapping administrative competencies, which has exacerbated the problem of solid waste within Egypt. The establishment of a specialized environmental training body for the management, management, collection and recycling of such waste, the expansion of the recycling industry because of its significant economic, environmental and social implications, the need for a comprehensive review of environmental legislation, especially Law 202 of 2020, and the enactment of a unified environmental law in all its areas, and the adoption of strict legislative and regulatory measures to ensure the safe disposal of solid residues for demolition and construction.
