Evaluating the Role of Websites and Electronic Reservation Services on Increasing Travelers’ Satisfaction: Applied on Low-Cost Airlines

Abstract

Websites play a vital role in low-cost airlines, as these websites are an effective way to promote the available travel services, and therefore the creation of websites is necessary to prove the presence of companies on the Internet, as it serves as the interface expressing the activity of each airline, as well, in addition to the importance of websites In getting to know the opinions of the target audience of travelers about what each company offers to its customers, and then increasing customer satisfaction, and finally achieving high revenues and sales. As well as conducting a field study through the survey method, where 600 survey forms were distributed to passengers on airlines for low-cost airlines to and from Egyptian airports during the months of August and September 2022 to answer the questions of the study and achieve its objectives, which aims to evaluate the role of websites and electronic reservation services on Increasing passenger satisfaction indicators, in order to identify their attitudes and opinions towards the dimensions of the study, and the data received from the forms valid for statistical analysis were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program to reach the results of the study. The results of the research concluded that there is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the indicators of increasing travelers' satisfaction with budget airlines to Egypt through travelers' evaluation of the websites of these companies. In light of its results, the research presented some recommendations.
