Rituals and Celebrations are one of the most important manifestations of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which UNESCO has called on the countries of the world to identify and try to preserve from extinction.
As for Egypt, there are many popular and religious celebrations, which are spread throughout the country, including Sufi celebrations, where these celebrations have brought together more rituals associated with them, and on the other hand some of them were associated with special foods, music or songs specific to those celebrations, and other manifestations of cultural heritage passed down through generations.
This research deals with the Sufi celebrations of Siwa Oasis, Especially Siyaha Day, and its importance; as one of the manifestations of the preservation of the cultural heritage of Siwa, where it combines religious practices and folk rituals.
The research also traces the history of the entry of Islam and Sufi movements to Siwa Oasis, in addition to describing Sufi celebrations of the oasis, and focusing on one of the most important celebrations of two natures; Sufi and popular, which is known as Siyaha Day.
