يقدم البحث انطلاقا من التوجه العالمي نحو خلق المجتمعات الخضراء المستدامة خاصة في مجالات البنية الأساسية على الصعيد العالمي والمحلى آلية وکيفية مقترحة لتقييم هذا الاتجاه من خلال الاهتمام بمعايير البنية التحتية کما وضعت في نظام الجمعية البريطانية للأبنية الخضراء (BREEAM). ومن ثم تطبيقها على حالة المجتمعات العمرانية الجديدة في مصر (التجمع الخامس في القاهرة الجديدة)، في إطار توجهات التوسع في إقامة المدن الجديدة وقياس مدى استدامتها، وينتهي باقتراح بعض التوصيات في قطاع البنية التحتية من أجل محاولة للحفاظ على استدامتها والحفاظ عليه للأجيال القادمة.


The research is presented one of the assess for the global trend towards creating sustainable green communities, especially in the areas of global infrastructure.And the local methods and proposed way to assess this trend by paying attention to infrastructure standards as developed in the ( BREEAM Communities system) .And applied it to the state of the new urban communities in Egypt (the fifth Avenue in New Cairo) As part of the trends of expanding the construction of new cities and measuring their sustainability. It ends with some recommendations in the infrastructure sector in order to try to maintain its sustainability and preservation for future generations .
