Abstract

This research aims to conduct a pilot study to identify the effect of the use of nanoscale silver particles and tea dye in printing cellulosic clothing fabrics as well as the effect of mixing ratio and the type of material of the weft thread on the efficiency of the printing process. The importance of the research is highlighted through the contribution to achieving the healthy and functional aspect by using natural dyes in the printing paste and improving the functional properties of cellulosic fabrics (cotton / linen) produced under research by treating them with silver nano and emphasizing keeping abreast of global trends for the use of nanotechnology as well as the production of anti-microbial and ultraviolet fabrics Violet to achieve the quality of fabrics. Laboratory tests were performed for the research samples (color depth, stability properties, absorption time, tensile strength, elongation ratio, UPF, microbes resistance), and then the results of these tests were processed using the statistical program Spss21.
The study found that the fabric produced by mixing ratio and the type of material for the weft thread (25% cotton: 75% linen), the concentration of tea dye (750 ml / kg), and the concentration of nanometric silver particles (400 ml / kg) achieved the highest quality factor (77.05%) With an ideal area (1078.66). The study recommended making use of the advantages of nanoscale silver particle printing in improving the functional properties of cellulosic clothing fabrics and using more natural dyes in printing cellulosic fabrics.
