أولاً:  مشکلة الدراسة
لقد أصبح الإهتمام بقضية المعاقين ذهنياً ضرورة تفرضها طبيعة المتغيرات العالمية المعاصرة وخاصة في کيفية الإستفادة من امکاناتهم وقدراتهم ودخولهم سوق العمل والتأکيد على دمجهم في المجتمع وجعلهم يشعرون بذاتهم وکيانهم مع تمکينهم من بلوغ أکبر قدر ممکن من الإستقلال الذاتى ، خاصة مع إهتمام الدولة بفئة المعاقين وجعل عام 2018م عاماً للمعاقين وصدور قانون المعاقين والعمل مع المعاقين ذهنياً وفقاً لروية مصر 2030م ومن ثم تسعى طريقة العمل مع الجماعات من خلال الإستناد إلى مدخل العلاج الجماعى إلى العمل على تحقيق الدمج الإجتماعى للمعاقين ذهنياً وذلک من خلال تهيئة البيئة الإجتماعية والعمل على إدماج المعاقين في النسيج الإجتماعى مع أقرانهم العاديين وهذا ما تسعى إليه الدراسة الراهنة.
ثانياً : مفاهيم الدراسة
أ – مفهوم العلاج الجماعى.      ب- مفهوم الدمج الإجتماعى.     ج – مفهوم المعاقين ذهنياً .               
ثالثاً : الإجراءات المنهجية للدراسة:
  تنتمي هذه الدراسه وفقاً لأهدافها إلى نمط الدراسات شبه التجريبية واعتمدت على المنهج التجريبي بإستخدام جماعة واحده ،واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس الدمج الإجتماعى للمعاقين ذهنياً.
رابعاً : نتائج الدراسة:
        أ‌-         أثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الفرعى الأول وهو فعالية استخدام مدخل العلاج الجماعى في طريقة العمل مع الجماعات وزيادة التفاعل الجماعى لدى الطفل المعاق ذهنياً القابل للتعلم .
      ب‌-      أکدت الدراسة صحة الفرض الفرعى الثانى وهو فعالية استخدام مدخل العلاج الجماعى في طريقة العمل مع الجماعات وتنمية مشارکة الطفل المعاق ذهنياً القابل للتعلم .
      ت‌-      أثبتت الدراسة صحة الفرض الفرعى الثالث وهو فعالية استخدام مدخل العلاج الجماعى في طريقة العمل مع الجماعات وتقدير الذات لدى الطفل المعاق ذهنياً القابل للتعلم .
Firstly: Study problem:
 
     Attention to the issue of the mentally handicapped has become a necessity imposed by the nature of contemporary global variables, especially in how to take advantage of their potentials and capabilities and enter the workforce and ensure their inclusion in society and make them feel themselves and their entity while enabling them to achieve the greatest possible degree of autonomy, especially with the state's interest in the handicapped category and make a general 2018 is a year for the handicapped and the issuance of the law for the handicapped and working with the mentally handicapped according to the vision of Egypt 2030 Then the method of working with groups through relying on the entrance to group therapy seeks to work to achieve social Mainstreamingfor the mentally handicapped by creating a social environment and working to integrate the handicapped into the social fabric with Their ordinary peers and this is what the current study seeks.
Secondly: The study concepts:
         A- group therapy.               B- social Mainstreaming.          C- mentally handicapped
Thirdly: Methodological procedures:
      According to its objectives, this study belongs to the pattern of quasi-experimental studies and relied on the experimental approach using one group. The study used the measure of social Mainstreamingfor the mentally handicapped.
Fourthly: Study Results:
A- The study proved the validity of the first sub-hypothesis, which is the effectiveness of using the group therapy approach in the way of working with groups and increasing the group Mainstreamingof the mentally handicapped.
B- The study confirmed the validity of the second sub-hypothesis, which is the effectiveness of using the group therapy approach in the way of working with groups and developing the participation of the mentally handicapped.
C- The study proved the validity of the third sub-hypothesis, which is the effectiveness of using group therapy approach in the way of working with groups and self-esteem of the mentally handicapped.
