يهدف البحث الحالي إلى الکشف عن دور کل من التسامح وقبول الآخر في التنبؤ بنوعية حياة المسنين ، بهدف الکشف عن الفروق بين المقيمين في دار الرعاية للمسنين، والمقيمين مع الأسر، في مدى تسامحهم مع المجتمع وقبول الأخر ونوعية الحياة لکل منهم.
ولقد تم اختيار عينة البحث من محافظة بني سويف، وعددهم (80) مسن من الذکور والأناث، مجموعة تقيم في دار الرعاية للمسنين، ومجموعة مقيمة مع الأسرة، وتم تطبيق أدوات البحث عليهم متمثلة في : مقياس التسامح، ومقياس قبول الآخر، ومقياس جودة الحياة ، وتم التحقق من الشروط السيکوماترية للمقاييس، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن : للتسامح وقبول الآخر إسهامًا دال في التنبؤ بجودة الحياة، وأن هناک فروق في جودة الحياة بين المقيمين في دار الرعاية وبين المقيمين مع الأسرة، کما توجد فروق بين المجموعتين في مدى تسامحهم مع الآخر .
Abstract
The current research aims to reveal the role of both tolerance and acceptance of the other in predicting the quality of life of the elderly, with the aim of revealing the differences between residents of the nursing home and residents of families, in the extent of their tolerance with society and acceptance of the other and the quality of life
for each of them.
The research sample was chosen from Beni Suef Governorate, and they are (80) elderly male and female, a group residing in the nursing home for the elderly, and a group residing with the family, and the research tools were applied to them: the tolerance scale, the acceptance of the other, and the quality of life measure, The psychometric conditions of the measures were verified, and the results of the study found that: Tolerance and acceptance of the other is a significant contribution to predicting the quality of life, and that there are differences in the quality of life between residents in the care home and between residents of the family, and there are differences between the two groups in the extent of their
tolerance of the other.
