Abstract

A field experiment was conducted for two years (1999-2000) to evaluate two biofertilizers namely Microbeine and Phosphorene, two chemical fertilizers namely superphosphate; sulpher and combination between them as a basal applications on vegetative growth and chemical composition of white sapota and rose apple seedlings. Data indicated that using biological and mineral fertilization are recommended in increasing all vegetative growth parameters i.e. plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and leaf dry weight in comparison with tested other treatments. Furthermore, using 10gm/pot microbein plus 5gm/pot superphosphate surpassed all other used treatments in this respect.
