Abstract

The main objective of this research was to identify the problems facing farmers of field crops in Damietta and Beheira governorates, the degree of their suffering from them, and identify the most of these problems suffered by the respondents, in addition to identify the significant differences between the respondents of the two governorates with respect to each of these problems. A regular random sample of 349 respondents was selected according to Craigse and Morgan tables of the total size of the research distributed among the four research villages in the two governorates according to the percentage of their representation in the total research.                                                                  The research data were collected during the months of (February and March, 2019)  by a personal  interview using a questionnaire with the respondents. Several statistical methods were used to clarify the results distribution and  frequencies tables , standard deviation,  percentage , means and the test `` T ''
