In view of the architectural design for the time being, we will finally found that the scene is quiet and static. Thus, in fact, it is not authentic to claim that we are in a period of crucial change, whether it is in design, education, practice or research. Despite that the common reasons to support this interpretation, may vary significantly, it is usually considered latent within the field of design itself. In addition, we are still living with the design performance of the nineteenth century, whether industrially or architecturally, when the concept of this profession appeared for the first time.
In fact, the design appeared to absorb the shock of industrialization and reduce its devastating impact on the cultural fabric. In other words, it came to make industrial products acceptable in terms of cultural, social, economic, symbolic and practical aspects. And, aesthetics was its distinctive tool and then appeared the work environment in the mid-twentieth century and again aesthetics in the late twentieth century. However, the unique field of the activity remained the real product processed in architecture and mechanical, electrical and electronic industries. As a matter of fact, the present century has witnessed rapid and continuous manufacturing processes, not only in relation to manufacturing products but also in providing so-called "services" which form our ways of living, such as education and health, entertainment, food, etc. Thus, no one can question the fact that services are products itself.
-                     Now, the question is: Where and who are the designers responsible for the design of these products? And, Are they similar to product designers in the nineteenth century?
-                     There are thousands of designed products waiting to be recognized and formed by designers in order to comply with the needs, aspirations, hopes and life projects of its users.
Through this viewpoint and research we will endeavor to find the answer of the following points:
-          When to use a theoretical design model as a base for education?
-    What is the appropriate theory of knowledge regarding design practicing and what is its importance to the architectural design methodology?
-    Does the current level of teaching methodology of the design process inside the design studio sufficient to describe the complexity of the architectural design process?
بالنظر إلى التصميم المعمارى فى الوقت الحالى سنصل إلى نتيجة مفادها بأننا في فترة التغيير الضروري، سواءً کان ذلک في مجال التصميم أو التعليم أو الممارسة أو البحث. وعلى الرغم أن الأسباب المشترکة في دعم هذا التشخيص قد تتفاوت بشکل کبير، فإنها عادة ما تعتبر کامنة ضمن مجال التصميم نفسه.
کما اننا لانزال نعيش مع صورة الأداء التصميمى للقرن التاسع عشر، سواء أکان صناعيا او معماريا"  عندما ظهر مفهوم هذه المهنة لأول مرة. فقد جاء التصميم لامتصاص صدمة التصنيع وتخفيف آثاره المدمرة على النسيج الثقافي. وبعبارة أخرى، فقد جاء لجعل المنتجات الصناعية مقبولة من الناحية الثقافية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والرمزية والعملية. کان علم الجمال أداته المميزة، وجاءت بعد ذلک بيئة العمل في منتصف القرن العشرين، وعلم الجمال مرة أخرى في أواخر القرن العشرين. ويشهد القرن الحالي عمليات تصنيع سريعة ومستمرة وليس فقط فيما يتعلق بتصنيع المنتجات بل في تقديم ما يطلق عليه "الخدمات" التي تشکل طرق معيشتنا مثل التعليم والصحة، والترفيه والمواد الغذائية وغير ذلک من المنتجات التى نتعامل معها فى حياتنا اليومية. فلا يمکن لأحد أن يشکک في حقيقة أن الخدمات بمثابة منتجات في حد ذاتها. ولکن أين ومن هم القائمون على تصميم هذه المنتجات، فهل هم مناظرون لمصممي المنتجات في القرن التاسع عشر؟ هناک الآلاف من المنتجات المصممة التي تنتظر من المصممين إدراکها وتشکيلها بحيث تتوافق مع الاحتياجات ولتطلعات والآمال والمشاريع الحياتية لمستخدميها. ومن خلال هذا البحث يمکننا دراسة محاولات التجديد لمبادىء مدرسة الباوهاوس، ومدى إمکانية تطبيقها فى الوقت الراهن. وذلک من خلال دراسة النموذج النظر والتطبيقى لها وإمکانية تطبيقة کأساس للعملية التعليمية داخل إستوديو التصميم.
