يحتفظ متحف ماغنيسا بمجموعة من شواهد القبور، تم تجميعها من جبانة أولو "Ulu" وجبانة کاراکوي "Karaköy" بعد تعرضهما للتدمير في سبعينيات القرن الماضي، وقد سجلت نقوش الشواهد باللغتين العربية والترکية العثمانية، ويغطي تاريخ هذه الشواهد ما يقرب من ثلاثة قرون، ينسب بعضها لشخصيات کان لها دورًا هامًا في تاريخ مدينة ماغنيسا. وقد اتسمت هذه الشواهد بمجموعة متنوعة ومميزة من العناصر الزخرفية متمثلة في رسوم العمائر والزخارف النباتية، ميزتها عن غيرها من شواهد القبور العثمانية الأخرى.
تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة ونشر 20 شاهد قبر من ضمن الشواهد المحفوظة بمتحف ماغنيسا، بغرض التعرف على طرازها الفني ومعرفة تصميماتها وما احتوت عليه من أسماء وألقاب ووظائف متنوعة تدل على المکانة الاجتماعية لأصحاب هذه الشواهد.
 
The Manisa museum preserves a group of tombstones, collected from the Ulu and the Karaköy Cemetery after they were destroyed in the seventies of the last century. The inscriptions of the tombstones have been recorded in both Arabic and Ottoman Turkish languages. The history of these tombstones covers nearly three centuries, some of these tombstones are attributed for personalities who had an important role in the history of Manisa. These tombstones were characterized by a variety of distinctive decorative elements represented by drawings of buildings and plant motifs.
This paper aims to study and publish 20 tombstones coming from the tombstones which are preserved in the Manisa museum to identify their artistic style, designs, and the various names, titles and functions which indicate the social status of the owners of these tombstones.
