This study drives at defining the relationship between the family and the increase of the emotional intelligence rate of preschool children; describing as well the role of socialization parents follow to raise their children and its relation to elevation of their children. The study also defines the differences between the two sexes and the impact of the family environment and intelligence rate, exploring also the factors responsible for increasing the IQ, besides defining the cultural, occupational, and economic factors of the family that affect socialization. The study is applied on a purposed sample of (200) early stage children' mothers and their children (100 children – 100 mothers) divided equally into (50 urban persons – 50 slum persons). The study uses scale of emotional intelligence for child and mother (by researcher), using also statistical approaches, Pearson Coefficient Correlation, the One-Way Covariance Analysis – T. Test. Results indicate a significant statistical relationship exists between family environment and emotional intelligence, in favor of the urban environment. There is no significant statistical difference between average scores of the two sexes regarding their intelligence level; while there is a significant statistical relationship between occupational position of the father and the economic level of the family and children' IQ.
