Abstract

It is a well known fact that the success of economic policy in any country is tightly linked to the successful implementation of programs which enhance the efficiency of resource use in the agricultural sector . With enhanced efficiency, not only does an agricultural sector generate more wealth and savings, it also generates opportunities for a more equitable distribution of income among the members of the sector.
