Changes in the female human voice occurs between childhood and old age and reflect many of the biological changes that influence the size, shape and physical properties of the larynx.The aim of this work is to study the effects of age differences on the female human voice. 100 normal female participants were included in this study; 20 children, 20 adolescents, 20 adults, 20 pregnants and 20 menopausal. Acoustic analysis of their voice carried out, results were recorded and analyzed. This study proved that there is definitely a change in the female voice throughout her lifespan. There is a general descent in Fundamental frequency values from childhood to menopausal females. The most significant acoustic changes occur during adolescence and menopause and that’s because during these two periods most of the hormonal, physiological and anatomical changes take place.
