Abstract

Breaking had news is an important difficult skill. Doctors have been reported to be low in confidence in this skill, particularly in pediatric setting as medical education typically offers little formal preparation for this daunting task without proper training. The way in wich bad news is broken can have significant impact of recipient. Long term psychological adjustment and compliance with medical management.
