Abstract

Measurement of intraocular pressure is important after corneal refractive surgery. Goldmann applanation and air-puff tonomerers underestimate IOP after LASIK. Orbscan II and dynamic contour tonometry measure IOP accurately after LASIK. After PRK, there is underestimation of IOP by Goldmann applanation tonometry. Pneumotonomery and peripheral Tono-Pen IOP measurement are accurate after PRK. Intra-corneal rings and RK do not alter central IOP measurement.
