Post-burn hand deformities are a common problem. Fifty four deformities were managed in this thesis. The results were analysed and compared to previously published reports om post-burn hand reconstruction. A plan is proposed for management of these difficult cases. The first step is adequate release of the contracture. The second step is coverage of the defect using either skin grafts or flaps. Flaps used can be local, regional or distant. The radial forearm flaps is specially valuable. Distraction osteogenesis was tried in one case with good result.
