Abstract

For a dermatologist to treat the effects of age, it is important to understand the pathogenesis of aging, and how the descent and volume loss of soft tissues and bone create the look we seek to rejuvenate.Periorbital hyperpigmentation with its multifactorial etiology often present a therapeutic dilemma with a wide variety of treatment options, ranging from topical medications to chemical peeling and laser procedures.
