Abstract

This study aimed at evaluation and comparison between the efficacy and safety of intravitreal and posterior subtenon injection of triamcinolone acetonide (TAA) in the treatment of refractory uveitis. It included 40 patients divided into 2 groups (A&B). Group A was injected intravitreally while group B received posterior subtenon injection. Intravitreal injection of TAA is considered more effective in controlling inflammation and decreasing macular edema but with more complications.
