Abstract

Postmenopausal bleeding requires careful evaluation, todetect the cause of bleeding as it is often the first and principalsymptom of endometrial cancer. Although fractional curettagehas been used as the gold standard for distinguishing bleeding.Yet the procedure has certain limitations. The introduction ofhigh frequency transvaginal ultrasound improved the ability toassess pelvic organs. Recently 3D ultrasound evaluationovercame 2Dultrasound in evaluation of uterine cavity &diagnosis of endometrial polyp.
