Abstract
The present study included retrospective evaluation of the records of 800 consecutive patients who underwent ICSI\TESE in order to evaluate the prevalence of CIS of the testis. Testicular biopsies of 81 patients were restrained by PAS. These biopsies had been taken from67 patients with history of undescended testis &14 who's their HX eosin specimens were suspicious for CIS. PAS stained section which were suspicious for CIS were subsequently stained by C-kit proto-oncogene (CD117).The presence of CIS was confirmed in one case out of 81 cases. It was concluded that the incidence of CIS among the 81studied cases was about 1.2 %( 1\81) and among the 67 cases with undescended testis is 1.49 %( 1\67).
