Diet is the environmental factor compatible with epidemiological and pathological data for etiology of multiple sclerosis. Accordingly, removal of foods which activate T-cells which damage the BBB and addition of dietary supplements which enhances neuronal myelination and strengthens the BBB could improve patients. So, MS patients are adviced to avoid animal fat, whole milk, creamy dairy products, margarine, eggs, and alcohol beverages, and to increase intake of fatty fishes, fresh vegetables and fruits, polyunsaturated oils, whole grain cereals, whole meal bread and legumes. This dietary regime is supposed to be of great value in management of multiple sclerosis
