Abstract

The use of thoracoscopy throws 3 small incisions in the chest wall to introduce the thoracoscopic instruments. It is useful in the management of posterior diaphragmatic defects (Bochdalek), or antero lateral defects, or diaphragmatic eventration. It is useful for the patient postoperatively as it doesn’t have the large incision which would affect the post operative outcome.
