Endoscopic transnasal transsphenoid pituitary surgery is a minimally invasive surgery resulting in low morbidity and mortality rates compared by the traditional approach to pituitary gland. The endoscope afford the surgeon greater visualization and better illumination with angeled vision and panaromic view facilitate the good and complete removal of the pituitary tumours .several authors found that endoscopes are very easy to use and are for less cumbersome than the microscope in pituitary surgery.
