Abstract

Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is a major cause of fetal morbidity and mortality. Patients at risk may benefit from prediction and early management. First trimester uterine artery Doppler, placental volume and ductus venosus Doppler are investigated as predictors of second trimester fetal growth parameters. Uterine artery Doppler proves to be a useful tool in early prediction oif fetal growth abnormalities.
