Abstract

Malignant head and neck masses in pediatric age group became not uncommon and they are in need to early and accurate diagnosis and characterization that will affect the plane of therapy and post-therapy outcome of the disease, conventional MRI is the golden tool for assessment of these lesions yet addition of diffusion MRI imaging will raise its accuracy with no wasted time or added valuable costs to the study.
