Abstract

The early and accurate diagnosis of IUGR may reduce the incidence ofmorbidity and mortality of fetuses with this condition.Clinical prenatal diagnosis remains difficult inspite of the Dopplerumbilical artery and fetal blood flow velocimetry capacity to predictunfavorable outcomes. It is classified into type I or symmetric IUGR and type II or asymmetricIUGR.The key in management of IUGR is prompt observation and deciding theproper timing for delivery of the compromised fetus according to all givendata.
