Abstract
The present study was concluded on 205 patients with suspected manifestations of sarcosporidiosis. The aim of the study was the detection of Sarcocystis infection using serological diagnosis and stool analysis and evaluation of muscular and intestinal sarcocystosis as health problems of man. Interpretation of results of ELISA test revealed 9 patients (8.56%) with positive IgG anti-Sarcocystis antibodies among patients of the musculoskeletal group. No sporocysts were detected in stool samples of the intestinal group. Statistical analysis of patients clinical and laboratory data was performed.
