Abstract

Glaucoma is a progressive optic neuropathy primarilydamaging the ganglion cell complex. The FD-OCT offerscomprehensive glaucoma evaluation by providing assessment ofRNFL thickness, optic disc morphology, and ganglion cell complex. In this study Peripapillary RNFL thickness and macular GCCthickness had similar diagnostic values for early to moderateglaucoma detection. The results are consistent with other studies. Inconclusion, macular GCC thickness is comparable to RNFLthickness for detection of early and moderate glaucoma.
