Our study presented a using of a biocompatible PMMA bone cement in manufacturing of a prosthesis for ossiculoplasty by our own hands on simple way, beginning from mixing and casting of a material and through sterilization and putting a prosthesis in place, till waiting the outcome and results. The study included 30 patients having conductive hearing loss secondary to chronic otitis media, with ossicular discontinuity. The patients were classified according to their operative findings and the method of ossiculoplasty used. Ears with stapes superstructure present, PORP prosthesis was used (18 cases). Ears with an absent stapes superstructure, TORP was used (12 cases). In comparing of our results with other results of other materials of ossiculoplsty, our material nearly similar to the best results done. It can be concluded from this study that PMMA is suitable and efficient biocompatible material for ossicular reconstruction
