Abstract

Ethanol is one of the most commonly consumed substances, with many toxic effects on different body organs, including endocrinal glands. One of its mechanisms of action is production of free oxygen radicals. Casnosine is an antioxidant substance with many protective functions on cells.The study aims to investigate the possible protective role of carnosine against the toxic effects of ethanol on endocrinal glands.
