Abstract

In our study 20 patients requesting augmentation mammaplasty that had been performed (4 saline and 17 silicone, 14 submammary, 6 subpectoral from circumarcolar, inframammary, and axillary approaches). In this study we tried to reach the indications for augmentation mammaplasty and parameters for site and size choice in addition to type of implant either saline or silicone. We find that silicone filled implant is better than saline filled and the site of implant should be decided according to certain criteria. As a conclusion: volume, site, and type of implant can be detected by proper selection of the patient.
