Abstract

Several methods have been developed for postoperative pain control in children including regional anesthetic procedures. This double-blind randomized controlled study was carried out to compare between ropivacaine with and without epinephrine and bupivacaine with and without epinephrine. Conclusion: , ropivacaine 0.2% gave a prominent superior results compared with bupivacaine 0.2% as regard onset, duration of analgesia and the potency of the drug.
