Abstract
This thesis was done to evaluate the biophysical profile score, amniotic fluid index, Doppler study of umbilical and cerebral feral circulation, in addition to cord blood erythropoietin in assessment of fetal condition in high-risk pregnancy. Doppler study is recommended in high- risk pregnancy as it has a good specificity in addition to the biophysical profile. The amniotic fluid index can be used as simple test that needs little experience. Cord blood erythropoietin showed the highest sensitivity. The optimal method for fetal surveillance remains unresolved; this highlights the importance of indication specific testing and the use of special schemes.
