Cancer survivors are increasing now thanks to the advances taken in surgery, radio and chemotherapy. However, the radio and chemotherapy affect the fertility of the survivors-especially childhood cancer survivors- leaving them sterile. There have been ways to preserve the fertility of those cancer patients. However even after preservation of fertility in those patients, some issues arise as the pregnancy safety and potential after exposure to chemo and radiotherapy, the risk of exposure to them on offspring and finally legal and ethical issues related to preservation of fertility.
