Abstract

This is thesis study of bone marrow microvessel density in myeloid leukemias. At first, areview of angigenesis, angiogenic switch, angiogenicloops, molecular regulation of angiogenesis, markers of angiogenesis,anti angiogenic therapy and angiogenesis inleukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and myelodysplasticsyndromes. A review of different types of angiogenic factors m vascularendothelial growth factor, basic fibroblast growth factor andhepatocyte growth factor. In the chapters of Acute and Chronic myeloid leukemias, we includetheir Pathogenesis, etiology, types, molecular changes, prognosis, andmanagement. Subjects and methods used in the study included and resultsdiscussed with both statistical and correlation studies.
